مصر هي أم الدّنيا وكما أبدع المؤرّخ اليوناني هيرودت في التّعبير عنها بمقولته الشهيرة مصر هي هبة النيل. نعم فأصل وجودها هو نهر النيل وعزيمة وحب أولادها لتلك الأرض التي وهبتهم المعنى الحقيقي للحياة منذ قديم الزّمان فتلك الأرض العظيمة هي أرض الحضارة والتّاريخ العريق فلقد كانت أوّل أرض يقوم عليها حضارة من أعظم الحضارات التي مرّت على تاريخ البشريّة ألا وهي الحضارة الفرعونيّة القديمة والتي لا تزال آثارها شامخة حتى الآن تشهد عن عظمة المصريّين القدماء التي تحدّت كل الصّعاب وظلّت صامدة في وجه الزّمان وتقلباته فهيا بنا نتعرّف على موقعها وحدودها الجغرافيّة ومكانتها التاريخيّة والسياسيّة والسياحيّة بين دول العالم أجمع: موقع مصر وحدودها الجغرافيّة : تقع مصر في قلب قارات العالم القديم بحيث كانت نقطة الإلتقاء الثّلاث قارّات الكبرى قديماً آسيا وأروبا وأفريقيا كما أنّها تتمتّع بمكانة مرموقة بين دول العالم العربي بوقوعها في وسط العالم العربي يحدّها من الشّمال البحر الأبيض المتوسّط ومن الجنوب دولة السّودان ومن الغرب دولة ليبيا ومن الشرق البحر الاحمر ودولة فلسطين . موقع مصر التاريخيّة: كما ذكرنا سابقاً فإن مصر كانت مهد أعظم الحضارات على مر التّاريخ فقد حرص المصريّين القدماء منذ سبعة آلاف سنة على تشييد أساس صلب لأعظم دول العالم فاهتمّوا بالزّراعة والصّناعة والتّجارة بحيث كان وقتها أكثر الدّول المتقدّمة ولم يكون لها مثيل في جميع بقاع العالم ثم توالى عليها الكثير من أنظمة الحكم مثل الحكم البيزنطي والحكم الإسلامي ثم وقعت تحت العدوان والإحتلال وظلّت ثائرة شامخة تطالب بحريتها حتى تكوّن النّظام الجمهوري السّائد حتى الآن . موقع مصر السياسيّة :تتمتّع مصر بمكانة سياسيّة أخذتها من موقعها الجغرافي في قلب العالم القديم والحديث بحيث أنّ وجودها كهمزة وصل بين الدّول وفي ملتقى قارّتين من أكبر القارّات في العالم جعل لها دور سياسي هام في استقرار المنطقة وخاصّةً منطقة العالم العربي فحدوث أي تذبذبات في سياستها يؤثّر بشكل سلبي على كل الدول لمحيطة بها . موقع مصر السياحي: لما تتمتّع به مصر من تاريخ قديم دام سبعة آلاف سنة فلكل حقبة تاريخيّة مرّت بها مصر آثار خالدة حتى الآن تجذب السّياح إلى زيارة مصر والتمتّع بمشاهدة تلك الآثار ومن اهمّها الآثار الفرعونيّة مثل الأهرامات الجيزة ومعبد رمسيس الثالث ووادي الملوك والملكات كما أن جو مصر المعتدل وإطلالتها على بحرين من أهم البحار جعلت منها مصيفاً للكثير ممن يعشقون الطبيعة الخلابة . ولا يكفينا آلاف المقالات حتى نعبّر عنها وعن مكانتها وخاصّة في قلوب أولادها ففعلاً مصر هي أم الدنيا .
